
LumaSense Technologies Inc. introduces the m924 original equipment manufacturer (OEM) module, designed to replace the Luxtron m600 Series OEM modules and FOT lab kit with better accuracy of ±0.05 °C and a sample rate of 50Hz. This module was designed for -100°C to 330°C temperature monitoring in medical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and radio frequency (RF) OEM systems, implantable device testing, and general-purpose research and development labs.
The Luxtron m924 OEM module has four channels designed for high accuracy temperature measurements and optimized for OEM and lab applications that use the proven and widely used Luxtron Fluoroptic STB and STF probes and extensions. The m924 OEM module consists of the four-channel m924 OEM single printed circuit board (PCB) with RS232 (ASCII) and RS485 (Modbus) digital communication, and options to add 0 to 10V or 4mA to 20mA analog output and metal enclosure.
The Luxtron m924 OEM Module has flexible configurations for both OEM and lab/research & development (R&D) applications. The m924 OEM board is backward compatible with the Luxtron STB and STF probes and can be used in MRI and RF medical systems to monitor body temperature during treatment. An enclosure option is also available for the m924 OEM module with analog output to perform heart pacemaker/implantable device, semiconductor and other advanced technology development measurements in lab/R&D, regulatory, field and production testing applications. Leveraging LumaSense’s patented Fluoroptic technology with Luxtron probes, the system provides precise and repeatable in-situ temperature measurements and control of processes involving RF, EMI, magnetic fields and high voltages. The small form makes the module easy to integrate into existing equipment and is highly suited for numerous applications.
