Blaser Swisslube raises funds for National Robotics League

Blaser Swisslube joins forces with other NTMA National Associate members to raise funds for the National Robotics League (NRL). From Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2019, Blaser will donate $500 to the NRL on behalf of each NTMA member company placing their first order for one or more drums of Blaser metalworking fluids.

The NRL is a manufacturing workforce development program supported by volunteers and donations from individuals and companies like Blaser. The NRL organizes student teams to design and build remote controlled robots (Bots) to face-off in gladiator-style competition. Through this hands-on effort students gain practical knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) – all essential skills for our future manufacturing professionals.

Blaser is a family-owned Swiss company serving customers in 60 countries. The company is focused on developing high-quality cutting and grinding fluids that deliver productivity, economic efficiency and machining quality in all manufacturing industries.

“We help our customers leverage the full potential of their machines and tools. When we can do this, the metalworking fluid becomes much more than a commodity. It is a Liquid Tool that can measurably improve the machining process and shop environment,” explains Carsten Witthuser, managing director of Blaser Americas.

Current customers of Blaser can also support the NRL fundraising effort by sharing their own experience and results applying Blaser metalworking fluids. The company will donate an additional $500 for each Blaser customer sharing a success story. E-mail orders@blaser.com or call 845.294.3200 #2 to learn more.
