Yeong Chin Machinery Industries Co. Ltd. (YCM) is celebrating its 70th year in business. Established in 1954, the company is recognized as the leading manufacturer of machine tools in Taiwan and has earned a reputation worldwide for producing high-quality CNC machines that deliver performance and reliability.
YCM machine tools are built from the ground up in the company’s 1.7 million sq ft manufacturing facility that includes an onsite foundry where the critical base of every machine is cast using Meehanite. The YCM line of machine tools includes vertical machining centers, double column machining centers, horizontal machining centers, CNC turning centers, and 5-axis vertical machining centers.
YCM products are sold in the U.S. market through its subsidiary, YCM Technology (USA) Inc. Based on the realities of integrated manufacturing solutions and driven by customer needs, the YCM Alliance program was created to better serve U.S. manufacturers. The YCM Alliance comprises a dedicated group of complementary, like-minded machine tool brands, top-notch dealers, and solution matter experts, all working together to provide comprehensive application-based systems.
"As manufacturing advances, particularly in automation, a collaboration between advanced machine tool builders to offer comprehensive systems is in the customer's best interest,” says YCM Chairman Richard Chen. “The value of this is emphasized when it comes to complex manufacturing processes associated with die/mold, automotive, aerospace, and medical equipment applications. This collaborative approach provides customers with best-in-class solutions and services.”
YCM Alliance partners include:
- YCM – Milling, turning, and wire EDM
- Exeron – Sinker EDM and ultra-high-speed milling
- TRIMILL – Gantry type portal milling
- Ziersch – Grinding solutions
- CHETO – Deep hole drilling
- Millutensil – Spotting presses
“The YCM Alliance program is very customer-centric; it was created to provide extraordinary value to manufacturers looking for solutions beyond a single machine type,” says Tony Pekalski, president of YCM Technology (USA), Inc. “Our YCM Alliance partners are second to none when it comes to quality, performance, reliability, and experience.”
