WomenPower Career Congress

This year, the opening speech at the WomenPower Career Congress will be delivered by Dr. Ariane Reinhart, a member of the Executive Board at Continental AG – a company at which 25% of management positions are slated to be filled by women by the year 2025. On this five-member Executive Board, two out of five positions are already held by women – a top figure among companies listed on the German DAX stock exchange.

The program will then be kicked off with a total of about 30 workshops, presentations, and discussion panels. Highlights include a panel discussion on the changing world of work with Dina Reit, CEO of SK Laser, and Prof. Barbara Schwarze from the Competence Center for Technology, Diversity and Equal Opportunity.

Other highlights include workshops by Carmen Wegner on “Success factor, networks: How to build and maintain a resilient network” or by Jutta Talley, who will inform attendees on how women can speak appealingly and authentically in podcasts. Kerstin Kahrens and Ina Wiesenthal from Etage.Sieben will demonstrate the path to more efficiency and a positive work culture.

For numerous congress speakers and attendees, the focus is not only on imparting knowledge, but also on networking – which is why Deutsche Messe is once again organizing the Networking Night on the eve of the Career Congress. Here, participants and speakers can exchange ideas in a pleasant atmosphere and expand their respective networks.

The complete program is available on the internet. In addition to lectures, seminars, and workshops, WomenPower also offers an accompanying exhibition. There, more than 20 companies, associations, networks, organizations, and trainers will provide information on career perspectives, courses of study, coaching and mentoring offers as well as other labor policy topics and trends.

Participants can register online. Tickets are available starting at a price of 189 euros. The student discount price is 25 euros.

A new highlight this year consists of the WomenPower panel on Industrial Transformation on the Monday of the fair, 17 April. Judith Wiese, Member of the Board of Management at Siemens AG, Kamila Flidr, Director of Material Information at Altair, Lisa Reehten, Executive Board of Bosch Climate Solutions, Bosch Group, and Dr. Frauke Reinders, Head of Sustainability Management IMA, Phoenix Contact, will discuss the topic of decarbonization.
