Qosina, a global supplier of OEM single-use components to the medical and bioprocess industries, has completed the construction of its new state-of-the-art cleanroom. This 1,700ft2, ISO Class 8 cleanroom supports the expansion of Qosina’s pick and pack process, allows the company to increase capacity, and reduce lead times for customers.
During the design and construction phases, Qosina worked diligently to develop novel shipping techniques for its medical and bioprocessing components. Qosina’s new cleanroom has ten workstations designated for its scale counting and repacking process.
“Our new cleanroom was built to accommodate the increased growth of our business, further showcasing our commitment to meet our customers’ most critical component requirements,” says Qosina President and CEO Scott Herskovitz. “This cleanroom further validates that Qosina is an important part of the supply chain for medical device and bioprocess system manufacturing. We want our customers to have the confidence and peace of mind that components manufactured in a cleanroom are always opened and repacked in a similar environment.”
