MedTech Innovator (MTI), the world’s largest accelerator of medical technology companies, today announced the addition of Minnetronix Medical, PRIA Healthcare, Prolucid Technologies, RegNav, and Veeva to its Industry Partners, joining 23 other leading service providers and manufacturers.
In addition to their financial support of MTI, Partners bring to the program specific industry knowledge and experience from working with startups as well as established medical device companies. Minnetronix Medical brings technical engineering and manufacturing expertise; PRIA Healthcare will help the startups determine their value proposition to ensure reimbursement and market access; RegNav testing services will help startups understand regulatory compliance requirements; Prolucid will advise on the requirements for software design, development, and maintenance; and Veeva will help the startups identify the software R&D, quality and commercial strategies for life sciences companies.
These latest partners join a stellar group of world-class Industry Partner service providers that includes BioT, Cambridge Consultants, Cannon Quality Group, Medmarc, Lifeblood Capital and Talent, Proxima Clinical Research, Siemens, Velentium, Veranex and others. Industry Partners first serve as online reviewers and in-person judges at pitch events to provide feedback and help select the top startups to join the accelerator cohort. Once the cohort is selected, leaders from Innovation Partner companies provide mentoring and support over the course of the program, as well as provide in-kind services to a select number of startups.
“Achieving successful medical technology commercialization and market access requires a highly sophisticated ecosystem of partners, and we have assembled the world’s leading regulatory, technology, product development, clinical and market access service providers to address the entire lifecycle of a medtech startup,” says Paul Grand, founder and CEO of MedTech Innovator. “We thank Prolucid Technologies, PRIA Healthcare, RegNav, Veeva and Minnetronix, as well as all of our partners, for providing their time, counsel and expertise to our cohort companies. We simply could not do this without their support and participation.”
Reviewers and judges will have a tall task again this year, as MTI received a record-setting 1,450 submissions for a spot in this year’s cohort. Approximately 200 of the applicants will be advanced to receive a coveted slot at an in-person pitch event in Los Angeles, Maryland, and Dublin, Ireland, or at an online/virtual event. After subsequent due diligence and final cohort selection in May, the 2025 accelerator will commence at the invite-only Innovator Summit June 25-26, where 125 startups from all the Innovator cohorts will convene in Mountain View, California, to engage with hundreds of representatives from MTI’s partners, mentors and alumni.
