Packaging options range from custom-formed soft flexible blisters, flexible pouches and polybags to disposable procedure kits that protect and identify product upon customer receipt. B. Braun’s OEM Division’s approach addresses package design from the initial stage of the development process to end of product use. Resourceful and experienced design engineers, using flexible in-house resources, work with customers to develop a package that enhances existing product lines. B. Braun’s OEM Division’s packaging engineers can help configure and validate a new tray or pack for a procedure, or customers may select an existing validated tray configuration.

In designing their kits, customers have access to thousands of B. Braun products and more than 700 standard kit components from dozens of validated and approved vendors.

Sterilization is also available as a part of the single-source service. B. Braun’s OEM Division offers 100% EtO sterilization capacity controlled via microprocessor-based technology. Validated chambers are capable of sterilizing high volumes of product, making the process efficient and thorough.
