EMUGE-FRANKEN USA, a leading manufacturer of high-performance taps, thread mills, end mills, drills, and other rotary tools, has announced it will open its doors and invite the community to gain real-world exposure to advanced machining and tool manufacturing at its Manufacturing Month event on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 10AM - 1PM ET at EMUGE-FRANKEN USA headquarters located at 1800 Century Dr., West Boylston, Massachusetts. The event will include a dialog with special guest Kenny Urban, Machine Shop Supervisor for Meyer Tool & Manufacturing and Social Media Influencer.

October is recognized as Manufacturing Month, when thousands of manufacturers across North America participate in a Manufacturing Event to educate millions about modern manufacturing and generate interest in the manufacturing trades to build a stronger, skilled workforce.

From 10AM – 11:45AM, attendees will have the opportunity to meet industry professionals and have a guided tour of the EMUGE facility including a behind the scenes look at how high-precision cutting tools are made and how the tools are used to manufacture products that impact everyday life including critical aerospace, defense, medical, and automotive parts. EMUGE will also showcase live machining demos, allowing attendees to see state-of-the-art CNC machines in action equipped with EMUGE’s high-end precision cutting tools.

During a Pizza Lunch & Learn from 11:45AM – 12:45PM, attendees can enjoy lunch and participate in a Q&A session with Kenny Urban who will share details about his journey in machining, tips for success and offer career advice for future machinists.

All members of the community are welcome to attend including students eager to explore the manufacturing world, trade school representatives, and anyone curious about advanced manufacturing in the U.S.A. On-site parking is available for all attendees.
