East joined ISCAR in 2006 working as outside sales & applications, then later moving into the position of regional technical specialist. In 2014 he joined the national product management team. In his current role as national product manager over all non-rotating tools, East is responsible for creating the national cutting tool strategies in parting, grooving, turning, and threading, with emphasis on productivity and cost reduction.
East and his team are also responsible for executing internal training and assisting the local ISCAR regions with training at distribution channels, and end-users either at ISCAR facilities or while in the field across the U.S.
