Innovation takes center stage at plug and play medtech expo in Warsaw

Plug and Play Warsaw’s Medtech Expo will be held 1:30PM to 5:30PM on March 5, 2025, at Grace College’s Manahan Orthopedic Capital Center. Registering for the event is free, but must be done in advance.

The Expo offers a platform for industry professionals to connect with innovative startups, including those graduating from Plug and Play Medtech's Batch 2 accelerator program. This event serves as both a celebration of their achievements and a showcase of their cutting-edge technologies, providing attendees with a firsthand look at the future of medtech.

In addition to celebrating the accomplishments of this cohort of medtech startups, the expo will bring together thought leaders for remarks and a panel discussion exploring trends, opportunities, and challenges in medtech and healthcare.

Drew Flamm (Grace College), president, and Jim Lancaster (Zimmer Biomet), senior vice president and head of global product development, will speak. The panel discussion titled "The Evolving Landscape of MedTech and Healthcare in 2025: Challenges, Opportunities, and the Path Forward" will include insights from Cristina Piecuch (Zimmer Biomet), director of new product development; Jillian Turner (IU LAB), vice president for strategy & operations; and Liz Wiederhold (Paragon Medical), senior program manager.

Attendees will experience the future of medtech firsthand as they witness pitch presentations and engage with demo tables hosted by Plug and Play's Batch 2 startups.  Following the presentations, a networking reception featuring community vendors will provide opportunity for collaboration and connection.
