Richfield, Wisconsin – A new brochure detailing products introduced at EMO - and on display in September at IMTS 2016 - is now available from Carmex Precision Tools Ltd., parent company of Carmex Precision Tools LLC (U.S. headquarters).
- In line with increased emphasis on Swiss-style machining, the brochure features polygon inserts and toolholders for external turning, grooving, parting and threading on Swiss-style machines, as well as additional slim toolholders for parting against the sub spindle. The Tiny Tools line has been expanded with the CBR incorporating an advanced chip breaker for improved chip evacuation in boring and profiling operations. Designed for machining stainless steels, super alloys and other hard-to-machine materials, the Tiny Tool CBR also features internal coolant through the tool and is constructed of new advanced carbide grade TNX with triple coating for high edge stability and better chip flow.
- A new external turning holder for back operations on CNC Swiss-style machines grips, the Tiny Tool in two directions for turning operations on both the X- and Y-axis.
- A unique external thread turning holder with internal coolant flow includes two connectors: an elbow fitting and a top clamp. More effective coolant deposition provides improved chip control, longer tool life, great abrasive resistance, and reduces the cutting edge temperature.
According to Jim White, Carmex national sales manager, “The new additions to our Swiss and Tiny Tool lines were extremely well received at EMO and reflect Carmex's continuing emphasis on the precision machining of small-sized complex parts in stainless and exotic materials. Our new brochure will enable customers and others to become familiar with the details of our new offerings prior to seeing them at IMTS later this year.”
