From simple, manual, single-feature operations to complex, automated part measurements, Starrett's Galileo Vision Systems combine high-resolution images with a sturdy, precision mechanical platform to deliver superb accuracy for a wide-range of measuring applications. The system's work envelope and measuring capacity provides either 6-in. or 12- in. in the X-axis, 6-in. in the Y-axis, and 5.5- in. in the Z-axis. The maximum workload is 40 lbs.
Galileo Systems come with a choice of two software/control packages. The CNC system includes a PC control and Quadra-Chek QC-5000 3-dimensional software, while the manual and joystickcontrolled motorized systems come with a choice of Metronics Quadra-Chek QC220 2 dimensional readout, Metronics Quadra-Chek QC 230 2.5 dimensional readout, or Metronics Quadra-Chek QC 5000 3 dimensional software.
There is a 12:1video zoom package on the CNC systems with video magnifications of 15X to 550X. Video zoom on the manual systems is 6:1 with video magnifications of 15X to 350X.
Options include an adjustable 4- in. Z-axis dovetail slide, CNC rotary positioning device, integrated workstation, four-quadrant LED ring light, video side probes, and more.
