The LC50-DIGILOG laser, delivering accurate tool measurement and repeatability, incorporates technology that’s upgradable over time. Able to generate thousands of measurement values per second, measurement and testing times have been shortened up to 60%. In addition, further improved optics enable near-perfect accuracy from an optimized beam shape and 30% smaller focus diameter.

With LC-VISION software, and technology cycles such as 3D ToolControl and SpindleControl, LC50-DIGILOG enables continuous DIGILOG-based contour measurement of tools, on-screen visualization, and the ability to monitor spindle health.

Additionally available is Blum’s Portable Spindle Control (PSC) system allowing companies to inspect spindles for all machines in a shop with one portable laser system. A compact, easy to use system, PSC enables monitoring an unlimited number of motor spindles – axial and radial run-out, vibration analysis, or a stability check of a machine spindle directly on a computer.

Training system

Manufacturers can leverage the HxGN Machine Trainer – an operator-programmer trainer within a minimal physical footprint – right on the factory floor. Presenting realistic machine preparation scenarios and providing interchangeable CNC controls to cover various types of machine language mentoring, the training system also hosts a wide selection of CMM digital twins of different sizes and brands.

Based on the new generation of NCSIMUL and I++simulation software, it combines software and hardware to create a solution that’s practical and easy to learn. Based on modeled machine kinematic digital twins, the HxGN Machine Trainer presents numerous learning opportunities using realistic simulations for 3-to-5 axis milling, mill-turn, and CMM operation.
