Grand Opening of Walter North American Technology Center
Walter USA celebrates the opening of a 40,000ft2, $2.5-million North American Technology Center, designed to help educate customers, channel partners, and employees on Walter’s product offerings, while also enhancing the Walter Multiply brand, which transfers technical knowledge across a range of sectors in order to increase productivity.
Muff Tanriverdi, president, Walter Americas and Mirko Merlo, president, Walter AG provided welcome addresses, followed by Wisconsin Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch and Peter Eelman, vice president, AMT – Association For Manufacturing Technology.
“Walter Multiply will provide service support to our customers in the areas of planning, manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and training,” Tanriverdi says. “And the tech center will provide the means to arrive at tailor-made programs with the customer in mind. Our commitment to customer service and support has always been high and this expansion only reinforces that mission.”

Global Market Grows for Omax Products
To meet a growing demand for products and services around the world, the global distribution and support network for Omax Corp. is expanding its global distribution and support network in Europe and other international markets.
