The Z-Carb high performance rougher (HPR) lineup contains a fractional and metric selection, including multiple corner radius options and the Ti-NAMITE-M coating. Z-Carb HPR products are engineered for hard-to-machine materials, while maximizing tool life and bringing more value to the spindle.
Z-Carb HPR five-flute roughing end mills are suitable for achieving high metal removal rates (MMR) and a finish of 80 RMS or better on most materials.
The 5-flute design increases productivity compared to three- and four-flute end mills. The variable indexing geometry allows for improved chatter suppression over symmetrical designs.
The Ti-NAMITE-M coating features high wear resistance, reduced friction, and prevents cutting edge build up.
