Strausak returns to US
Strausak AG officials have opened a subsidiary in Mundelein, Ill., and appointed Hank Ecker, previously regional sales manager of Rollomatic Inc., as its president. Rollomatic Holding acquired Strausak in 2011. Combining Rollomatic’s R&D, purchasing power, and other resources, Strausak continues to develop precision CNC grinding machines, such as the 5-axis Fleximat.
As one of the first users of the NUM control and Numroto tool grinding software, Strausak machines utilize Numroto’s flexibility and productivity for grinding specialty cutting tools and for resharpening.
Strausak USA will draw on resources from Rollomatic and will provide service and support from its North American headquarters in Illinois. www.strausakusa.com
