Dual-spindle turning center
NRX 2000 enables simultaneous machining processes on both work spindles. Two 5,000rpm work spindle units can be moved in the X- and Z-axis. Two stationary tool turrets in the front of the machine provide space for 8 to 10 tools.
The gantry loader, with charging times of 5.6 seconds, reduces idle times and is supported by the duo loading unit, which enables fast workpiece transfer from spindle 1 to spindle 2. The dynamics of the loading portal have been enabled by a more compact design and reduction of movable parts to reduce vibrations and improve surface quality.
The edgeless chip collection pan and integrated chip conveyor ensure process-reliable chip disposal. A production cell can be automated for serial production.
Features
- 1,181ipm traverse
- 64.96" wide, 82.68" high
- Integrated loading and unloading system
- Workpiece stacking feeder with 14 units can receive workpieces of up to 6.61 lb

CAM solution to increase productivity
ESPIRIT 2015 accelerates the machining process by providing 5-axis cycles that reduce cycle time. The 5-axis blade-roughing tool motion is morphed across the blade from any size stock shape to uniformly offset stock allowance so it can be immediately followed by a finishing cycle.
A port-roughing cycle creates a 5-axis roughing operation to remove the material inside an area where the tool must enter through a restricted opening. The shape of the toolpath is an offset of the port surfaces, starting at the surface and proceeding inward at a constant stepover. Bottom-up roughing strategy allows the user to attain a small residual stock height during the stock removal process.
The stock automation function maintains awareness of the stock removed by previous operations to generate cutting passes only in areas where stock remains.
Sketches, feature profiles, and curves, are now available through ESPIRIT FX data exchange from Dassault Systemes CATIA, Parametric Technology Pro/ENGINEER, and Siemens NX/UG. Machining Cloud Connection allows access to complete and up-to-date tooling product data.

Linear guides
NH and NS series linear guides incorporate a new shape for the ball groove that optimizes contact surface pressure distribution, increasing load rating and operating life.
Interchangeable sliders and rails can be combined with conventional linear products. The installation dimensions are the same as the LH and LS series, so the NH and NS series can be incorporated without changing the device design. A self-aligning feature accommodates misalignment and minimizes internal loads.
NH and NS series linear guides can be used in production equipment including material handling robots and machining.
