Halogen-Free FPC/FFC Connector
A 0.5mm pitch, zero-insertion force connector is for applications utilizing both, flexible printed circuit (FPC) or flexible flat cable (FFC). The FH52 Series features a unique design that increases the retention force on the FFC/FPC while making the positioning and insertion of the cable easier. The design of this connector is highlighted by its robust locking structure, a structure that provides stability and excellent actuator retention.
The 0.5mm pitch FH52 Series boasts a mated height of 2mm and an actuator opening that simplifies the FPC/FFC insertion process by allowing the actuator to rotate up to 110°. Side catches were designed into this connector to do all of the following: hold the tabbed FPC/FFC in place, increase the retention forces placed onto the FFC/FPC, provide a guide for positioning, and to maintain a consistent connection. The FH52 Series provides a high retention force of up to 29.01N.
The FH52 Series has a fully enclosed molded structure on its bottom side, enabling the board area under the connector to be used for PCB patterning. The locking mechanism delivers a firm, clear tactile click that verifies the completion of the locking process and reaffirms a safe and reliable connection.
With a low profile of 2mm, the FH52 Series connectors are available from eight to 60 positions (8,10, 11, 12,15,18, 25, 28, 30, 32, 35, 40, 42, 45, 50, 60), with an operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C.

Subminiature Connectors
A series of non-magnetic combination D-subminiature connectors are ideal for advanced medical imaging equipment. These combination D-subminiature connectors exhibit a low relative magnetism because they replace the major conventional magnetic components that could interfere with the magnetic flux of medical imaging systems, such MRI machines.
Comprised of copper alloy shells, tin-plated brass hardware components like screws or threaded rivets, and die-cast zinc brackets, the non-magnetic combination D-sub connectors can include signal, high power, or coaxial contacts. The advanced non-magnetic combination D-subminiature connectors are available in 21 standard pin configurations, as well as in custom arrangements.
Available with 4-40 UNC or M3 threaded inserts, the non-magnetic combination D-subminiature connectors feature power rating from 10A to 40A and a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. The coax contacts are available in 50Ohm or 75Ohm versions. The combination D-subminiature connectors are both RoHS and REACH compliant, and are available in a variety of configurations.
