Critical cleaning systems
LeanJet RB-1 is a cleaning system designed with a washing and rinsing process of agitation, spray impingement, hydraulic purging through immersion and rotation, ultrasonics, and heated blow-off drying. The triple-action batch cleaning process was developed to process a broad range of challenging parts, making this system capable of meeting critical cleaning expectations.
The LeanJet RB-1 Gen 3 parts washer also features the latest Siemens programmable controller and operator interface screen. This controls platform boosts system flexibility for automation integration, process control, and data logging while offering an intuitive user interface. The RB-1 offers easy maintenance with larger access doors and tank access lids. The RB-1 has a small footprint of 4ft x 7ft x 6.6ft.

Production management software
e$CORE software feature generates a monetized version of machine tool performance based on the six span-time categories as defined by the AMT – The Association For Manufacturing Technology. Part of the Freedom eLOG software suite, e$CORE provides full transparency into manufacturing gains or losses in terms of dollars, putting the amount of money being saved or wasted in the manufacturing plant at management’s fingertips. The software includes three types of reports – burden, monetary, and summary – which can be customized by users based on an assigned hourly value for each machine. Users assign percentage weights based on the AMT category (plant shut-down, scheduled downtime, delay time, repair time, not in-cycle process time, and in-cycle time), and the e$CORE value is calculated by summing the daily values in each category. The three report types are viewable in monthly, weekly, daily, or hourly timeframes.
The burden report compares the performance of selected machines, and presents a net value in a stacked bar graph with colors that correspond to the AMT categories. Each bar shows how that category contributes to the cumulative e$CORE value.
The monetary report shows production values (in-cycle and not in-cycle process time) vs. lost production values (plant shutdown, scheduled downtime, delay time, repair time).
The summary report shows the values reflected in the monetary report, but includes the aggregate values for each machine. This allows for machine-to-machine comparisons for the selected timeframe.

Small, fast drill/machine center
The DM-1 is a high-speed, lean-style machining center with a compact footprint that allows multiple machines to be placed side-by-side. Its high acceleration rates, fast axis speeds, and short tool change times – combined with a 40-taper inline spindle – make the DT-1 a high-productivity machining center.
The DM-1 provides cutting feed rates to 1,200ipm for high-speed milling, and the machine’s 18+1 side-mount tool changer reduces non-cutting time. High-speed 2,400ipm rapids combine with high acceleration rates to shorten cycle times.
For efficient chip removal, the DM-1 features steeply sloped internal sheet metal. Optional twin chip augers transport chips to exit at the rear of the machine, allowing multiple machines to be placed close together. A 45-gallon flood coolant system is standard, with options for a programmable coolant nozzle and high-pressure through-spindle coolant systems. A wide selection of options are available to further boost productivity, including high-speed machining software, wireless tool and work probing, and 4th- and 5th-axis capability.

Expanded workholding line
Kurt’s 5-axis dovetail vise provides up to 4,000 lb of precision clamping force without distorting the workpiece. The DT20 dovetail has a 1/2" movable jaw stroke to allow precise raw stock clamping with less material prep for fast positioning in the vise jaws. It is 2" wide, handles part dovetail widths from 1.375" to 1.800", and is constructed of 4140 alloy steel.
The KTR35 vise is designed for tool room, knee mill applications, and use on smaller CNC machining tables. With up to 5,000 lb of precision clamping force, the KTR35 tool room vise gives the machinist a range clamping options. It features predrilled sine holes for use with a receiver vise to achieve 30°, 45°, and 60° angle settings.
The Sidewinder SDW35 vise is 3.5" wide and designed for mounting to the back of 6" and 8" single station vises. It has an increased 4" wide jaw opening, with up to 5,000 lb of clamping force, and provides vertical workholding for second operation machining in the same setup.
VersatileLock vises feature a one-piece body, a stationary jaw design, and provide 0.0005" part clamping repeatability. The VersatileLock vise model is now available in four 8" vise models that have a 10" jaw opening. Models available are manual standard, manual reverse, hydraulic standard, and hydraulic reverse.

Sump cleaner system
CECOR Sump Shark sump cleaners are high-suction sludge vacs that remove collected industrial fluids and solid waste from reservoirs during commercial, industrial, and metalworking processes. The filter system separates the solids from fluids. In many applications, the recycled industrial fluids can then be returned to the reservoir for re-use. CECOR also offers a discharge filter for additional second-stage filtering of industrial fluids. It couples to the Shark’s existing discharge port with no special tools needed.
FYI: CECOR offers a wide range of sump cleaner models, tank capacities, power sources, transport systems, and filtering options.
