Sinker EDM center
The Mitsubishi EA8S Advance is a sinker EDM center that features the M700 series control with 15" touch screen and FP80S energy saving power supply. This design reduces electrical consumption by 20% as compared to the previous FP model. The Power Master GF2 Adaptive Control reduces graphite electrode wear by as much as 80%. The addition of the SS Jump 5 optimizes jump-up acceleration control to stabilize high-speed, no-flush burning.
Also available in the EDM line is the MV2400-R wire machine, which features improved machine construction, auto-threading, internal machine communication, power supply technology, and operating cost reduction.

CNC machine simulation
VERICUT 7.3 verification and optimization software simulates all types of CNC machining, operating independently or integrated with CAM systems.
Machine simulation with VERICUT detects collisions and near-misses between all machine tool components such as axis slides, heads, turrets, rotary tables, spindles, tool changers, fixtures, workpieces, cutting tools, and other user-defined objects. Machine movements can even be simulated while stepping or playing backwards in VERlCUT’s NC Review Mode.
With VERICUT Reviewer, shop floor personnel, suppliers, customers, and other production engineers can view animations of the CNC machining process. The stand-alone viewer does not need license and can play forward and backward while removing and replacing material. Reviewer files can also be played on an iPad.
Features
- Drag/drop files from Windows for quick setup
- Constant gouge checking is 2x to 5x faster
- Check cutting tool wear limits based on time, distance, and volume
- Automatically creates a Reviewer file during simulation
- Reviewer incorporates the functionality of NC Review mode
- Measure tool assemblies in the tool manager
- New CAD/CAM interface is available for Surfcam
- Improved SpacePilot mouse/navigator motion
