High-speed compact internal grinding machine
The GI-10NII grinding machine is equipped with rigid, high-speed grinding wheel spindles for high-performance production in automated environments. Capable of simultaneous 2-axis control, this model is flexible for handling a variety of workpiece shapes in a simple data setting.
Centralized control of lubricating and pneumatic devices allows for easy maintenance, while simplified programming and the program help function allow for easy operation.
Equipped with features that enhance the automation process, the GI-10NII grinding machine is capable of simultaneous dressing and loading, fixed workhead construction, and greater X-axis travel to provide additional space for workpiece loading/unloading.

MoldTech wire EDM series
The AgieCharmilles CUT 200/300 MoldTech series of wire EDMs are equipped with a special bundle of dedicated technical features and capabilities for accurate and efficient machining of highly complex parts with variable surface heights or taper cuts.
The MoldTech package’s Taper-Expert smart module – for cutting highly precise large taper angles – allows use of large radius wire guides and soft brass wire, and it compensates in real time for the pivoting point drift in the Z-direction when the angle changes. The results are surface finishes of (Ra) 0.2μm and better angle cuts up to 30°.
The dedicated onboard AgieCharmilles AC CUT HMI (human-machine interface), includes Taper-Expert Advance, a taper adjustment function allowing operators to fine-tune the CNC parameters and control taper accuracy. Also through the AC CUT HMI, an onboard CAM system called AC OptiCAM 3D imports 3D CAD files. Users can then bring solid model files into the control, extract all ruled shapes, and automatically generate the ISO code for each profile.
The MoldTech package is available on four of high-speed wire EDM models and include the CUT 200 mS, CUT 200 Sp, CUT 300 mS, and the CUT 300 Sp.

Micro-machining center for high-surface finish
Made for ultra-precise manufacturing and high surface finishes on small, complex features, the YASDA YMC 430 Ver. II includes linear motor-driven controlled axes and a highly rigid machine structure for high-speed, precision, and surface quality. The micro-machining center has a high-speed 40,000rpm spindle and is available with 3-axis or 5-axis capabilities.
The HSK-E32 spindle minimizes vibration and offers high reliability and repeatability in micro-milling applications. A symmetrical H-shaped column and a low center of gravity structure provide high rigidity to the machine structure.
The table has linear guideways and a linear motor drive, enabling precise machining and excellent vibration dampening. Linear motor drives include optical scales and sustain sub-micron milling performance. The drive achieves linear positioning and circularity accuracy of less than 1µm.
In the optional 5-axis micro-milling capability, the machine is equipped with a direct-drive, motor-driven, high-precision tilting rotary table, providing multi-face indexing and machining as well as simultaneous 5-axis machining without re-chucking. Applying the direct drive motor to a tilted- and rotary-axis creates backlash-free, high-speed, high-precision positioning.

Twin-spindle, automated wet-blast system
A compact industrial slurry-blasting machine with two rotary spindles and programmable motion of the wet-blast guns, the Vaqua Komet is designed for blast cleaning and surface preparation in the work cell. The automated wet-blast cabinet has a 40" x 40" footprint while the single electrically interlocked 36" x 36" swing-out door provides access to the blast chamber.
Four wet blasting guns mounted on adjustable brackets correctly position angles and distances needed for component surface coverage. The actuator’s stroke and vertical traversing speed is adjustable, as is the spindle’s rotation speed, enabling a controlled and repeatable surface treatment process.
The blasting slurry is delivered to the guns by a bearing-free, seal-free, urethane-lined pump powered by a 2hp electric motor. Mounted at the rear of the wet-blast machine is the Vaqua slurry pump, which is removable for inspection or maintenance without draining the slurry hopper.
A portion of the pumped slurry diverts to the base of the steeply pitched hopper to agitate and mix the abrasive and water, maintaining uniformity of media concentration in the slurry.
Inside the urethane body of the wet-blast gun, a regulated flow of compressed air is injected into the slurry, dispersing the liquid as it exits the nozzle and projecting the abrasive slurry onto target surfaces of the components.
