Custom Direct Drive Motor Systems
For years, OEM's have routinely designed Applimotion ULT, UTH, UTS, and UTO frameless motor kits into direct drive systems. Applimotion is now offering design-engineering services to incorporate its widely popular frameless motor kits into application specific direct drive motors.
Whether a system needs special mechanical requirements, such as high accuracy for precision positioning, or for use in a harsh environment, Applimotion can custom-create the right solution. Based on performance needs, selection of an Applimotion motor kit is the first step. Then Applimotion engineers guide users through the selection of feedback and precision mechanical attributes. Finally, fabrication and delivery of a complete custom direct drive motor solution, including unique testing if required, is the result.
Direct drive motors are finding their way into many new applications as designers see the advantages in reliability, precision, and performance when compared to traditional solutions.

High Reliability, Low Cost of Ownership Laser System
Priced aggressively, the Telesis EVC Laser System features a Q-switched Nd:YVO4 end-pumped laser design with a remote fiber-coupled diode pump source. With average diode life of greater than 25,000 working hours, and low replacement cost, the EVC offers the user best-in-class reliability with low cost of ownership. The laser beam characteristics provide high quality, high speed marking on a wide range of materials including metals, plastics, and composites. It is ideal for delicate and sensitive electronics components and medical instruments.
To enhance the mark of confidence, the robust mechanical and optical design allows the Telesis EVC laser to operate in an industrial environment where shock, vibration, and dust are a concern. The small footprint allows for easy integration into manual off-line and automated on-line configurations, making it ideal for a wide of industrial marking applications.
Key attributes like deep focal tolerance, high quality small beam diameter, air cooled-no chiller required, stable output power, and DOD compliant, enhance the latest Telesis product release of the EVC laser.
In addition, utilizing Vanadate laser technology allows the EVC laser to enter the green space required by the latest packaging mandates, performing lightning fast marking on a wide range of materials without consumables or ecology issues.

Brushless DC Motors
EC16 brushless DC servo gear motors have had a number of modifications and improvements, the most obvious changes being the 60° winding pattern, the NdFeB high performance magnet, and the higher power output. In addition, the shortened motor type is available in a sterilizable version. The EC 16 is available with up to five winding types, as well as with hall sensors or sensorless. Four high power motors are available; 30W or 60W, and as sterilizable or non-sterilizable. The design features a torque/speed gradient reduced approximately 60%, and maximum continuous torque increased approximately 80%.
