Board Mount Pressure Sensors
Honeywell TruStability Board Mount Pressure Sensors: NSC Series - Uncompensated/Unamplified are now available. These sensors offer the flexibility of self-calibration, combined with stability, accuracy, and repeatability, making them ideal for precise and efficient performance in a variety of potential industrial and medical applications.
The TruStability NSC Series offers a ratiometric analog output for reading pressure over the specified full-scale pressure span and temperature range. Because they are uncompensated and unamplified, they offer infinite resolution on the pressure signal. Limitation of the frequency response is only by the enduser's system. Ranging from 1psi to 150psi (60mbar to 10bar), these sensors will operate as specified from -40°C to 85°C [-40°F to 185°F]. They are available in absolute, differential, and gage type.
The NSC Series offers accuracy of an extremely tight ±0.25%FSS BFSL (best fit straight line), which reduces software required to correct system inaccuracies, while minimizing system design time, supporting system accuracy and warranty requirements, and helping optimize system uptime.
The miniature 10mm x 10mm package is very small when compared to most board-mount pressure sensors. It occupies less area on the PCB and typically allows for easy placement on crowded PCBs or in small devices. The sensor is virtually insensitive to mounting orientation, allowing the customer to position the sensor in the most optimal point in the system, which eliminates the concern for positional effects.
Honeywell TruStability NSC Series provides both monitoring and control of pneumatic flow and system pressure for precise and efficient performance in a variety of industrial and medical applications. TruStability board mount pressure sensors are also available in the HSC Series and SSC Series, with both series featuring full compensation and calibration with analog or digital I2C or SPI outputs.

Low Cost Digital Autocollimator
The AC201 2-axis high performance angular displacement Digital Autocollimator System is a very compact high precision instrument designed to measure very small angular displacements with high sensitivity for distances to 2.00" (5.06cm). The AC201 Digital Autocollimator is ideal for instrumentation, tooling, and OEM manufacturers with requirements for high precision alignment, flatness, and squareness of surfaces in relation to each other; detection of angular movement; shaft straightness; motion control; and other orientation measurements. This rugged and compact 1.0" x 1.1" x 1.3" (2.5cm x 2.8cm x 3.3cm), low cost digital autocollimator can interface with a PC.
The AC201 Digital Autocollimator has an optical angular range of ±344 arc sec (±100mrad), and a sensitivity of 0.2arc sec (1.0µrad). The laser has a beam diameter of < 0.125" (< 3.000mm), requiring only a slightly larger reflection surface. Electrical requirements are: +5.0VDC @ 30mA. The AC201 Digital Autocollimator can be factory configured with one of several different interfaces including analog, USB, SPI, or quadrature encoder. The black anodized (per MIL-A-8625C) 6061-T6 aluminum body has 2x 4-40 mounting holes while integral electronics and connections are via a Nano D9 or USB connector.
Supplied with Windows application software and more than 24 ASCII commands for control and operation, the AC201 Digital Autocollimators are able to perform complex data collection and analysis. They are ideal for vibration analysis, mechanical and optical alignments, servo control feedback, tip and tilt measurements, settling time and stage damping analysis, and measurements needed in the manufacturing and testing of miniature mirrors and lenses, linear and rotary stages, fiber optic components, robotic components, and medical analytical devices.
