Swiss-style machine series
The SYNCREX series of Swiss-style machines brings performance and quality to higher volume, small precision machined parts. SYNCREX machines come in four bar capacities ranging from 20mm to 38mm. The machines are available in 7-, 8- and 9-axis configurations. A 9-axis model with full B-axis contouring is also available.
SYNCREX machines feature the MAZATROL SmoothSt CNC control which provides fast, easy job setups. Mazak Swiss Set-up Assist (MSSA) along with the Mazak Dynamic Chip Control (MDCC) features help reduce setup times and part production. Both these optional features will be highlighted at IMTS 2022.
Every Mazak customer receives MPower, a comprehensive machine support program. MPower provides single-source access to end-to-end support for the lifetime of every Mazak machine, including 24/7 phone support, onsite service, technical training, and 97% same-day shipping of parts orders.

Intuitive computer numerical control
The TNC7 CNC interface was designed to help users achieve the best results with maximum speed and convenience. Different machining tasks call for individualized work environments, so users can adapt their screen content through personal favorites and their own home menu for a faster start. And because of its fast-operating speed, the control reacts immediately to data input.
The TNC7 enhances familiar Klartext programming with smart functions and newly developed graphical programming. Users can draw contours directly on the touchscreen and convert them into dialogue-guided TNC Klartext programming code. Cycles and older contour programs can still be used, including already existing NC programs. A diverse package of functions, intelligent probing cycles, and graphical guidance for determining the position of clamping devices completes the next level of smart programming.

Cutting tool coating wear indicator
Dragonskin multi-layer coating lowers heat and lessens tool wear, and to prevent cutting edge waste and detect wear easily, the gold-colored TiN outer layer of the Dragonskin multilayer CVD Ti(C,N)/Al2O3/TiN coating acts as an indicator.
It enables users to clearly identify wear and index before a breakage while it prevents sharp cutting edges from going unused or an insert being discarded prematurely. In addition, a mechanical post-coating treatment produces beneficial residual stress in the coating for increased process security.
At IMTS 2022, Ceratizit will feature EcoCut and WTX-HFDS tools with the Dragonskin. The multifunction EcoCut solid-carbide and insert tools reduce setup time and increase productivity with support for four separate machining processes: drilling, with stationary or rotating tools or for turning face, inner, and outer contours. EcoCut Classic, Mini, and ProfileMaster versions address various diameters and bores for high performance in steel, stainless steel, and high-temperature materials.
