Ceratizit named Craig Engler to the role of global key account manager and Steve Smith as a technical sales engineer. Engler has 33 years of manufacturing industry experience and expertise. He earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial distribution from Eastern Michigan University and holds a Certified Metal Working Professional (CMP) credential.
With 42 years of industry experience, Smith serves the company’s customers in North Dakota and Minnesota, specializing in short-hole and deep-hole drilling, turning, milling, and advanced tool materials, including ceramic, cubic boron nitride, and polycrystalline diamond. Along with studies in machining and plastic injection mold making, Smith attended Anoka Technical College and has completed a variety of factory training programs.
Star SU appointed Bart Trublowski its new service manager and project coordinator. Trublowski will oversee service of all the company’s gear manufacturing tools in North America, including its hobbing, chamfer/deburring, and Scudding machines. Trublowski holds an Associate in Applied Science in engineering technology from Triton College, a Bachelor of Science in industrial management and technology from Northern Illinois University, and a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University Chicago.
The L.S. Starrett Co. appointed Coby Villegas and Christopher U’Glay as territory managers in the U.S. Villegas, who will cover Southern Texas and Southern Louisiana, has more than 20 years of manufacturing and project management experience, and has also spent 10 years as a Civil Affairs Specialist in the U.S. Army.
U’Glay, who will cover New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, and Eastern Pennsylvania, has 27 years of territory sales and sales management experience in commercial and industrial distribution, including the past 10 years representing John Deere in northern New Jersey.
