More than 10,000 metric tool items including milling and tool holders, can be accessed on MachiningCloud by Seco Tools’ customers. The partnership uses cloud-based technology so customers can quickly search for the proper cutting tool that best fits their cutting conditions. Seco users can download descriptive, usage, and geometric information into their shop floor software, such as computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), simulation, and tool management systems.
INDUSTRY APPOINTMENTS
Joe Kane is the new president of Strausak Inc. Kane will be based in the company’s North America office in Mundelein, Illinois, alongside Rollomatic Inc.
