BIG Kaiser's EWN digital boring head offers diameter adjustments of 1µm that can be easily seen on a high-contrast LCD display. A single button is used for all standard functions such as "on," "reset" and "store." The display will also have an "Autooff" feature to optimize battery life. Accessories for the range Ø2mm to 54mm are the same as for existing program EWN2-50XL.
Kaiser's EWB-UP heads will also be shown for the first time with inch graduations. These heads feature easy-toread dials with divisions of 0.00005" on diameter. A second dial on the heads corresponds to the boring diameter range and is adjusted to correct for the tool unbalance. The tool carrier locking system doesn't influence the tool diameter to ensure the best possible repeatability.
Two new angle heads from BIG Kaiser include the ONBS and the Compact Angle Head. The ONBS Angle Head offers a coolant-through the tool design. ONBS is available as standard in BIG-PLUS CAT40 and CAT50 tapers. The Compact Angle Head is smaller, designed specifically for lighter duty work and lower priced than original angle heads. The Compact Angle Head has a maximum ½" capacity and is available in BIG-PLUS CAT40 tapers.
Also shown will be the MEGA ER Collet Chucks, an expanded line of Sphinx Micro Drills, the expanded Phoenix drill line, the benchtop Speroni MAGIS, the OPT1500 touch probe and the Unilock clamping system.
