A ccording to its manufacturer, the 2626 xp is the most precise abrasive waterjet machining tool available. It features stainless steel construction, a water cooler for thermalexpansion control, and special TiltAJet nozzle that eliminates taper. All these contribute to the system's µ0.001in. accuracy working with a range of materials.
The 2626 is wellsuited for creating medical devices quickly and consistently. There is minimal waste when cutting these devices, either complete or as part of a workflow involving traditional machining methods.
Users easily process such materials as stainless steel, titanium, cuttingedge polymers, and even plastic and ceramics with the 2626. And because of low tooling forces, fixturing is frequently as simple as weighting workpiece material.
Easytouse and powerful software lets users design their own parts or import them from other CAD and drawing systems. An advanced cutting model integrated within the software ensures accurate and efficient processing.
