Three new models of Criterion's Cri-Bore Modular Boring System are being introduced. The new CB 1 and CB 1.25 models cover a boring range from 1.047 in. to 1.600 in. in diameter. The LCB 1.5 model increases the maximum bore diameter to 12.125 in. The CB 1 and CB 1.25 models can operate at speeds up to 10,000 RPM without special balancing. Both models have direct reading dial adjustment and through-the-spindle coolant capabilities. Each are designed with triangle or 80° diamond insert pockets for industry standard inserts. The LCB 1.5 model is available in inch or metric and is capable of boring holes from 5.000 in. (127 mm) to 12.125 in. (307 mm) in diameter or turning OD's from .750 in. (20 mm) to 8.812 in. (224 mm) in diameter. The LCB 1.5 direct reading dial is available with either a .001 in. (0.02 mm) or .0001 in. (2 µm) diameter adjustment. Through the spindle coolant capabilities are standard on both models.
