New HTRAK FHM Series bed mills offer increasedmanufacturing flexibility

Southwestern Industries' TRAK FHM Series Bed Mills incorporate the unique TRAKing feature, enabling a user to run complete part programs in the CNC and retain complete control of the machine feed. Cranking the hand wheel during tracking runs the X, Y and Z-axes as programmed. The machinist can run forward through the entire program, back up through the program, crank fast or slow, or even turn off the spindle to take a measurement during a program run.

Like past generations of ProtoTRAK, the SMX is made for machinists who work in small quantities, featuring geometry-based programming that is intuitive for machinists, useful for those who have limited exposure to G Code programming. Features such as Networking, Spreadsheet Editing, List Step Graphics, the Auto Geometry Engine and DXF Converters are all included in the HTRAK series mills.
