
CICOIL, manufacturer of flat, flexible cabling, introduces a standardized line of cables designed specifically for motion applications. The new Motion Series cables are flat and encapsulated in 'glass-clear' silicone for unsurpassed flexibility.
Cicoil's Motion Series cables are available in three designs for one axis, two axes or three axes of servo motion. Each of the three configurations is further available sized for 1KW, 2KW and 3KW servomotors.
Each Motion Series cable incorporates four shielded power cables and eight signal cables for each axis of motion. The silicone encapsulation provides a solid, one-piece construction that creates a highly durable cable package. The cable will not deform, break or wear during a lifetime of more than 10 million cycles. Cicoil's exclusive silicone process also delivers advantages in extreme environments, including temperatures ranging from -65°C to +260°C. They are also impervious to water, steam and chemicals. Their solid construction makes them uniquely wellsuited for vacuum or for cleanroom environments.
Standard cables are in stock for immediate delivery, for 'cable-only' orders. Custom designs, including cable assemblies with standard connectors, are also available with minimum lead times.
