MORI SEIKI HAS ANNOUNCED THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A TWO-YEAR WARRANTY on all machine tools installed after April 1, 2007. Under the new policy, all machine parts will be replaced free of charge for the first two years of the machine's life, while service and maintenance will be provided without cost for one year.
The warranty extension represents further enhancement of Mori Seiki's standard- setting service and support. The company's Service Centers are available for repair requests 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Mori Seiki Parts Centers immediately send customers the parts they need and ship over 90% of parts within 24 hours of the initial order. When repairs or upgrades are necessary, a service engineer is immediately dispatched from one of 8 Mori Seiki Technical Centers or 31 distributor locations. The combination of functions provided by these three types of facilities enables the high levels of service that the industry has come to expect of Mori Seiki.
"In addition to high machine performance, our customers have come to expect impeccable service and support throughout the life of their investment," says Thomas R. Dillon, president of Mori Seiki USA, Inc. "By extending our machine warranty to a full two years, we are demonstrating to customers our dedication to constantly raising the bar to exceed their expectations."
