The Albrecht APC is a key-operated tool holder that achieves high holding power through the combination of a precision worm gear and a gradual collet taper angle.
The APC is applicable for operations including heavy-duty roughing, fine-finish and hard-milling, as well as high-speed cutting, drilling, reaming, and tapping.
Accuracy is guaranteed at 0.00012 in., TIR at 2.5 x Dia., and APC Milling Chucks are balanced to G2.5@20,000 rpm for high-speed operation.
Additional features include a central thru-coolant passage, sealed construction, and an improved proprietary surface coating for fast, easy collet changes. Capacity of the new Albrecht APC has been increased from .750 in. to 1.250 in. All popular shank styles are available from stock, including CAT, BT, and HSK tapers.
