Camilla Nevstad Bruzelius has been appointed head of sustainable business at Sandvik Coromant to create and drive the company’s Sustainable Business Program, which includes developing, influencing, and delivering the organization’s sustainability strategy, covering operations as well as the company offering and customer operations. Another key responsibility will be supporting heads of business functions and leaders within the organization to deliver a better-integrated sustainability strategy and demonstrating progress against set sustainable business objectives. Bruzelius will also engage in communication and marketing of sustainable business campaigns to internal and external stakeholders.

Michael Herman has been promoted to vice president of sales at Big Daishowa Inc. Herman will oversee the sales team and support the company’s distribution network and machine tool builders throughout North America. Herman brings 40 years of experience, including 10 years at Big Daishowa Inc. During his tenure at the company, Herman has continued to build and develop relationships with the sales team, distribution, and business partners, with a personal commitment of promoting a higher performance guarantee.
Jim Perry has been appointed key account technical applications engineer at Star SU. Perry will provide application support to the Southeast and Great Lakes regional sales teams with a specific focus on PCD round tool products. Perry brings extensive hands-on precision machining and programming experience to this position. Prior to joining Star, he worked for tooling manufacturers Mapal and Winco.
Ron Cisliek has joined IGS GeboJagema as director of business development – USA. Bringing more than 30 years of experience in the industry to the role, Cisliek started his career as a product development engineer and has a strong technical background. IGS GeboJagema USA will initially focus on providing faster and more convenient sales and service support to the company’s North American client base.
