Nathan Turner
has been appointed president of Fastems LLC, a builder and developer of intelligent CNC automation and software for high-mix-low-volume manufacturers. Turner brings more than 30 years of automation experience to this role. He will lead Fastems’ growth and expansion in North, Central, and South Americas, overseeing Fastems’ sales, engineering, and support teams.

Kevin Ehlert has been promoted to director, mergers and acquisitions, healthcare & medical at Trelleborg Healthcare & Medical, a producer of engineered polymer solutions for medical device and biopharma applications. Ehlert will be responsible for growing the Healthcare & Medical business, and through acquisitions, Trelleborg will expand its offering to medical device and biopharma customers and broaden its geographical footprint. Ehlert joined Trelleborg in 2019 as the healthcare & medical segment manager for the Americas.

Mike Batch has been promoted to quality assurance leader at Transor Filter USA. Combined with his existing duties as a service engineer, Batch will also oversee the Transor Quality Assurance Program. Batch is an 18-year veteran of Transor and has held various roles in production and technical support.

Star SU, Louis Bélet enter strategic partnership
Cutting tool and gear tool providers Star SU and Louis Bélet have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance each company’s product portfolio and expand reach within the Americas and Europe.
