Renishaw Inc. appointed Denis Zayia president of U.S. operations. Zayia replaces Howard Salt, who, while turning over the responsibilities of day-to-day operations, will continue to provide valuable service to Renishaw as senior business manager encoder systems.

Tekni-Plex Medical named Dan Lazas global head of sales, leading the recently formed business unit which includes nine manufacturing locations and products under the Colorite, Natvar, and Dunn brand names.

Monaghan Tooling Group hired Mark Doré to the sales and business development team, responsible for growing burnishing, recessing, and mechanical joining tool sales in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, and Australia.

Capital Machine Technologies will represent Omax waterjets in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Florida. 

 

MRP earns 2019 Medtronic Supplier Excellence Award

Minnesota Rubber and Plastics (MRP) received Medtronic’s 2019 Supplier Excellence Award, recognizing its commitment to Medtronic’s Global Supplier Standards in delivering superior and balanced performance in quality, service, cost, innovation, and delivery. MRP was one of 10 companies from Medtronic’s base of more than 48,000 direct and indirect suppliers to receive the award.

MRP’s medical business supports applications within drug delivery, cardiovascular, diagnostic, surgical, and orthopedic markets. In addition to silicone, rubber, and thermoplastic components, MRP provides medical manufacturers with product design and engineering, development, DFM, and advanced materials science services.
