has completed its new 72, 000ft² facility in La Vergne, Tennessee, consolidating its Automation Division previously housed in two buildings in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The TTG division develops and manufactures assembly, material handling, dispensing, sorting, testing, welding, and fastening solutions for a range of industries.

“We ended up in two facilities when we had to quickly accommodate our business growth, but we are very pleased to now be consolidated under one roof,” TTG Automation President Matt Phillips said.

The company is expanding its staff by 20% and is looking to hire additional assembly technicians, electricians, project managers, and control engineers.

has expanded injection molding operations at its Baldwin Park, California, operation with the addition of six injection molding machines including three new Arburg molding machines, a work cell for two-shot molding, and a Wittmann Battenfeld micro molding machine with in-process visual inspection capability. The machines range from 15-ton to 110-ton and will support component production for in-vitro diagnostic test kits.

has hired Yuri Khazanov as CTO to lead research and development for hardware products and software. Additional responsibilities include product portfolio roadmap and customer technical support. In his previous role Khazanov headed a global engineering team, specializing in developing prediction solutions for pumps and compressors. There, he researched new machine learning methods for identifying failure modes in industrial assets using sensor data.

has appointed Eric Huston as vice president and as COO of the GTI Predictive Technology subsidiary. At GTI Spindle, Huston will drive the development and launch of subscription-based business solutions for machine tool spindle repair.
