The NT6600 DCG, with the world's largest Y-axis travel, as well as the fastest Zaxis rapid traverse rate and tool change in its class, offers unmatched accuracy and flexibility. With a Z-axis rapid traverse rate of 32,000rpm and a Y-axis stroke of 2.16ft, the NT6600 DCG provides a maximum machining length of 19.93ft. It is also equipped with a new automatic tool changer that reduces tool change time to less than 10 seconds from any position on the spindle. Mori Seiki's NT Series of integrated mill-turn centers fully combines a lathe with a machining center.
Visitors will also see the NMV8000 DCG, a 5-axis vertical machining center created to meet the needs of manufacturers producing large, complex parts.
Additionally, Mori Seiki will showcase the DIXI JIG 1200 High Precision Horizontal Machining Center. The JIG 1200 provides axis strokes of 47.2" x 43.3" x 43.3" with a 49.2" x 39.3" table that is capable of supporting over 5,500 lb. While positioning accuracy of 5m is typical for this class of machines, the JIG 1200 actually provides positioning accuracy of 0.99 m.
Also featured will be machines from Mori Seiki's DuraTurn, DuraVertical, NL, NX, NZ, NMH and NMV Series, the company's Taiyo Koki vertical grinding machines and products developed by its Machining Technology Laboratory (MTL).
