Slide Rail low-profile linear slides are quiet, maintenance free, and easy to integrate into new and existing applications according to the designer and manufacturer, LM76.
Slide Rail rails and carriages are available in three heights: 0.5625, 0.75, and 0.875-in. and in lengths of 7, 13, 19, 25, and 31-in.
A hard (60 to 70 Rockwell C) inert ceramic treatment of all surfaces on the rail and carriage assemblies protect against caustic chemicals and oxidation, while virtually eliminating wear.
The bearing material is Teflon composite that withstands loads up to 1,000 psi and has a maximum velocity of 80 in/sec (400sfm). There are no cavities as in ball bearing slides. Therefore, there is no place for contaminates to remain after washdown.
In addition, Slide Rail linear slides have load bearing surfaces at 45° angles to the mounting surface and the force of the load. This allows the user to mount Slide Rail linear slides and Slide Rail table assemblies on any horizontal or vertical plane including upside down.
For easy integration into new and existing applications, the Slide Rail carriage is supplied with four drilled and tapped holes for easy mounting. Slide Rail linear slide tables are sized to order, drilled and tapped, and factory aligned.
According to the company, the linear slides and table assemblies are ideal for applications involving robotics, medical test equipment, patient care devices, food processing, pharmaceutical, clean room, test equipment, linear motion systems, and more.
