Sub-micron bonder
The Fineplacer Femto 2 sub-micron bonder is designed for advanced packaging and bonding in automated precision manufacturing. The machine has a placement accuracy of 0.5µm at 3S and supports applications at chip and wafer level. The bonder can be configured for applications with a wide range of process modules, enabling bonding technologies such as eutectic and epoxy die attach, adhesive bonding and curing, and thermos-compression bonding. Dispensing options allow lines, dots, and patterns, as well as micro dipping.

Universal hydraulic toolholder
The Tendo E hydraulic expansion toolholder transfers torques of up to 520N-m (384 lb-ft) at a 20mm clamping diameter for high volume cutting. The toolholder offers vibration damping and run out accuracy of less than 0.003mm (0.0001") at 2.5 x D and protects the machine spindle and the cutting tool from damage. Designed for applications from rough milling to finish operations such as reaming and fine milling, its common spindle connections include interfaces HSK-A63, SK40, BT40, CAT40, and CAT50.

Dovetail grooving inserts
Thinbit Groove ’N Turn dovetail grooving inserts are designed to machine O-ring dovetail grooves with 66° undercut angles. Insert sizes are 0.030", 0.050", 0.060", 0.070", 0.080", 0.090", 0.100", 0.125", and 0.150" with major diameters starting at 0.300". The inserts are available in sub-micron grain carbide grades for ferrous and non-ferrous materials either uncoated or with TiN, TiCN, TiAIN, or diamond film coatings. They can be used on conventional, Swiss, and CNC machines.

Drill/tap/mill centers
The DT-2 and DM-2 offer high acceleration rates, fast axis speeds, and short tool change times with an additional 8" (203mm) of X-axis travel and table length. The DT-2 BT30 taper machine with a 15,000rpm inline direct-drive spindle and a high speed 20+1 side-mount tool changer, is available with 20,000rpm spindle. The DM-2 is a 40-taper machine with a 15,000rpm inline direct-drive spindle and a high speed 18+1 side-mount tool changer. Both centers allow high-speed rigid tapping to 5,000rpm with up to 4x retract speed to shorten tapping cycles. Both feature steeply sloped internal sheet metal for improved chip removal and a 45-gal flood coolant system with options for a programmable coolant nozzle and high-pressure through-spindle coolant systems.
