Just released, updated ball screw splines
The two updated ball screw splines are the SPBR and the SPBF. The SPBR type has a rotary ball screw nut and rotary ball spline nut. Rotary ball screw nut is an integration of ball screw nut and angular contact bearings. Rotary ball spline nut is an integration of ball spline nut and angular contact bearings. The SPBF type has a rotary ball screw nut and a ball spline nut. A single axis of the NB ball screw spline can provide positioning, linear, and rotary motion as well as combined spiral motion. The typical applications are SCARA robot, assembly machine, and loader.
The most recently introduced SPB-KP is a smaller rotary ball spline. Like the SPR, it goes from diameter size 6mm up to 25mm. The smaller the diameter, the shorter the length – scaled down products of compact systems meet tough quality standards as required for artificial limbs or the da Vinci surgical suite. Additionally, NB’s small ball screws are hardened to make them more durable.
