TriLock 3-in-1 vise

The Kurt TriLock product line, featuring 3-in-1 vise design and integrated quick-change dovetail jaws, is now available since the recent acquisition of CARVESMART. These 6" Kurt TriLock vises quickly convert between three vise sizes and double-station or single-station configurations. CARVESMART dovetail jaws come standard for maximum workholding flexibility. Preinstalled hardened steel jaw plates can quickly convert to CARVESMART machinable aluminum jaw extrusions or a wide variety of other CARVESMART jaw plate options for custom part holding and high-variability production work.

TriLock vises with CARVESMART jaws are on sale now with preinstalled hard jaws and a set of 6" extruded machinable aluminum jaws. Additional jaw extrusions are available with five different profile options in precut 4", 6", and 8" widths. Jaw extrusions are compatible with the TriLock vise’s dovetail movable jaws and with other CARVESMART master jaw kits currently in the marketplace while 31" and 94" extrusions are also available.

TL6CSP TriLock Vises are designed to quickly convert between a standard 6" double-station vise, a single-station vise, and a large single-station vise, and can hold parts as large as 11".

Orbital thread milling cutter

The Walter TC630 Supreme solid carbide orbital thread milling cutter for blind-hole and through-hole threads includes DeVibe technology, which includes an anti-vibration land on the flank face supporting the TC630 during machining, suppressing vibration.

DeVibe technology ensures operational smoothness and enables usable lengths up to 4xDN. Ideal for small threads, long overhangs, unstable conditions, or difficult materials, the geometry design has only one row of cutting edges engaged at a time so tool deflection is low and the thread remains cylindrical. The moderate number of teeth also enables a high feed per tooth, minimizing wear.

The milling cutter for blind-hole and through-hole threads can be used universally – in all ISO materials up to 48HRC and for all dimensions from M1.6 to M20.
