Making the Implantable Kidney Accessible to All People

Research resulting in beginning phases to produce a medical device that functions in the same manner as a human kidney.

Kidney research, by the recently founded Implantable Artificial Kidney Corp., has resulted in the beginning production of a medical device designed to function in the same manner as a human kidney. It is intended to extract waste while keeping the nutrients needed by the body. It is designed not to be rejected by the body, eliminating the post-operative immunosuppressants and frequent patient monitoring that a human kidney transplant patient would require for the rest of his life. It is designed to create urine immediately after being implanted. It is our goal to design a device to last 10+ years, and which does not require maintenance during its lifespan.

Further research and develop is occurring on this artificial kidney invented by scientist/inventor/engineer Charles E. Jennings. It is the intention of company officials to take the necessary steps to eventually gain FDA approval of the device.
