Toolex 4 in. and 6 in. double and eight-station vises are now available with hydraulics. An internalized hydraulic segment provides up to 4,000 lbs. @ 3,500 psi in the 4 in. vise, and 12,000 lbs. @ 3,500 psi in the 6 in. vise. Segments have a total maximum stroke of 3/8 in., and a maximum jaw opening of 3/16 in. per side.
Both double-station and eight-station vises feature the unique SnapLock jaw system for quick changeover between hard and soft jaw setups. All Toolex vise bodies are made from 80,000 psi ductile cast iron for increased durability.
QuickChange or AccuSnap jaws and parallels can be used with manual and hydraulic vise systems as well as most standard vise units. Quick- Change jaws, parallels, and mill angles have a gib that allows them to slide in from the side into a dovetail slot within the master jaw, and then lock into place with a center locating screw. AccuSnap jaws, parallels, and mill angles snap into the master jaw from its face (use 2 lock screws for extra holding) and can be ejected with a turn of the kick out screw.
