Hybrid milling machine

Hybrid milling machine; TPU material certified for HP Multi Jet Fusions

The Lumex Advance-25 hybrid additive manufacturing (AM) machine combines a powder bed metal AM platform with subtractive machining capability – selective laser sintering (SLS) for AM with high speed milling (HSM) for subtractive. It relies on one-machine, one-process manufacturing of complex molds and parts, creating a finished part with machined surface finish and accuracy, without causing additional variation from multiple machine set-ups and part handling. The hybrid AM machine produces complicated parts and molds through total manufacturing by digital engineering, using 3D data.

The Lumex Avance-25 enables differentiated original part production with internal structures and provides quick-turn production of custom parts, including prototypes and small run production parts.

Three-dimensional cooling channels can be incorporated into molds in a single setup, increasing cooling efficiency and enabling high-cycle injection molding with high quality and precision.
