The horizontal machining center, FH1250SX, features a new column and high-torque spindle designed to handle rapid cutting without compromising rigidity. The FH1250SX is designed to provide the cutting power of a boxway machine with more than 50% higher rapid feedrates than a typical boxway design.

Also on display will be Toyoda's 550SX HMC, featuring technological advancements that include a compact tool matrix. This high-performance model has double the driving force in the Y axis, with a ballscrew and motor on each side of the spindle. The compact matrix is a stationary tool storage rack that holds up to 280 tools (40-taper) or 184 tools (50-taper). The compact matrix allows Toyoda HMCs to be tooled up for more part numbers with the added benefit of incredibly fast tool-to-tool times. Additionally in the booth will be Toyoda's enhanced FH450S, automated with a 451-tool matrix and a 12-pallet FMS. The FH450S is a fast and powerful HMC, combining speed and rigidity in a compact footprint. The tool matrix and pallet automation system provide for long periods of unmanned production time.

Toyoda will showcase another new addition to its horizontal lineup, the FH400J. The FH400J features Toyoda's smallest pallet, designed to handle high-speed applications with a compact footprint.

Toyoda will debut the second generation of its vertical machining centers, featuring several technology upgrades. Highlights of the FV Series include larger table sizes with increased load capacities and increased stroke from previous models. These boxway VMCs offer a range of spindle options for highprecision, heavy-cutting applications.

Toyoda will also display its SB216 bridge type machining center. The SB series machines can quickly be customized to handle most large part applications. A full splash guard, dual chip conveyors, and a Fanuc CNC make them easy to use and maintain.

Toyoda's enhanced SelectG-II is an economical cylindrical grinding machine designed for flexible and precise small-lot work. The SelectG-II can be configured as an angle or straight wheel grinding machine. The booth will also showcase additional grinding technologies. Koyo will be displaying a fully-automated KC-500 Cam Journal Grinder and a fully-automated KVD-300W VVT surface grinder.
