Cory Davis was promoted to manufacturing engineer at Precision Drive Systems (PDS). Davis is responsible for the VibeAid field service and troubleshooting business for PDS’ U.S. and European repair facilities. Davis joined PDS as its metalworking product manager in June 2022. Prior to PDS, he spent more than 20 years in various roles at Accuromm USA Inc.

Michael Connor was promoted to sales and marketing director North America, Industrial Products at The L.S. Starrett Co. With Starrett since March 2020, Connor has managed the company’s portfolio of strategic accounts. Previously, Connor held a sales management position with Starrett from 2002 to 2006. Before rejoining Starrett in 2020, Connor directed sales/marketing efforts at a diamond tool company and at a New England supply company.

GF Machining Solutions relocates parts warehouse

For enhanced responsiveness to customers and quicker delivery of inventory parts orders, GF Machining Solutions has moved its North American parts warehouse operations to an airport- adjacent location. With this move, the same-day order cutoff will increase from 4:00pm CST to 8:00pm EST, effectively adding nearly half a workday to order placement hours.

With dynamic inventory management, optimization, and a direct connection to GF Machining Solutions' global parts centers in Geneva and Shanghai, the new facility uses predictive intelligence to ensure availability and quick shipment of critical components. The facility also benefits from close proximity to major shipping operations at Indianapolis International Airport.
