Cleanroom expansion for Aerotech
Aerotech Inc. is more than doubling its cleanroom space to support future growth. This expansion is in response togrowing demand for high-precision motion control equipment.
Aerotech’s cleanroom will increase to 6,500ft2 of ISO Class 6 space with cell-specific areas of ISO Class 5 space to manufacture ultra-clean automation systems. The cleanroom expansion continues a multi-year investment in facilities and operational capacity. In 2018, Aerotech expanded operations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by adding 134,500ft2 of manufacturing, office, and engineering lab space.
Acquisition expands Lee Spring’s miniature spring, medical sector expertise
Lee Spring has acquired Plainville, Connecticut-based D. R. Templeman Co., specialists in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of springs, spring guides, rings, and wire forms made from fine wire. Templeman has proprietary technology and deep experience in the manufacture of spring guides, also known as catheter coils and cable sheaths.
Templeman brings more than 80-years of engineering experience and quality products to the growing Lee Spring operation, expanding capabilities, products, and services to their customers.

APPOINTMENTS
Charlie Campbell joins MicroCareLLC as key account manager. Cambell is responsible for the growth and development of the MicroCare Medical Infection Prevention product line. He joins MicroCare with nearly 25 years of experience in sales and business development in the medical supply industry.
Ron Recupido has been promoted to EDM/machining regional service manager for MC Machinery for the Midwest. Prior to this most recent promotion, Recupido was service department supervisor for EDM/machining. As Midwest regional service manager, Recupido oversees a team that services customers in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois.
Kendall Ryerson has been promoted to vice president of sales for Carestream’sNorth America Region. Ryerson joined Carestream in July 2019 as vice president of corporate and government accounts.
Bryon Shafer has been named vice president of Jergens’ ASG division. With the new position, Shafer has global responsibility and oversees more than 50 employees providing torque control, fastening, and precision assembly tools to nearly 30 countries. Shafer joined Jergens in 2008 as ASG general manager
