
Bardons & Oliver is exhibiting its CNC Turning Systems, designed to manufacture piston rods and hydraulic cylinder bodies in one operation. Using the company's proprietary CNC turning cells complete with material handling, live tooling, and customized programming, the Big-Bore 2-Axis Horizontal CNC Turning Machines are designed to handle bar and tube applications from 1.00 in. through 12.00 in. in diameter.
The Big-Bore line offers 12- or 15-station, interference- free turrets with optional live tooling. High spindle speeds up to 3,000 RPM are available. The AC spindle drive features 40, 54 or 80 horsepower and bar and tube-loading systems provide automatic magazine loading as well as handle incoming material up to 40-feet long. All Big-Bore machines have GE-Fanuc CNC controls with digital AC servo drive systems.
