CIVI 2000 multipart clamping system is a modular workholding system that allows multiple workpieces to be clamped in a space that typical workholding devices can only clamp one workpiece. The CIVI 2000 system consists of a wide range of interchangeable bases, movable jaws and fixed supports. Bases are available in standard lengths from 250mm (9.94") to 630mm (24.80") and come with one fixed support. Additional fixed supports and moveable jaws can be added to create a completely customized workholding solution. CIVI 2000 can be used as a vice on existing machines, on a customized tombstone, or together with OML's COMBIDEX indexing tables. CIVI 2000 is also compatible with OML's patented CLAK system of quick-change parallels and jaws.
Also on display will be the Automatic Positioning System (APS), a universal connection between the machine tool, the clamping device and/or the workpiece that allows accurate positioning and clamping in a single operation and the MC modular workholding system.
